Every Fifth sunday President and Sister Cowley have a little get together with all the missionaries at their home. I had hope but did not realize that i would start a relationship with my future husband. Boy did Elder Preston Van Dyke look good. I  had wanted for him to ask me out for awhile and he hadn't so i knew i had to make  an effort. We had a fun conversation about 24 and prison break and that totally got us hooked.  I was smitten after that night, I could keep him off my mind.

Treasure hunt for Sammer the Birthday boy. What he doesn't know is mom found the Jackpot at Party Land with the entire store half off. I'm not saying mom is a pirate.

The only reason i have this picture in here is one of my former roommates Heidi who i love and adore had a friends who let us stay at their home while we were homeless for awhile and all Heidi and i did was Watch 24. We were pretty much obsessed! But this may be considered one cute quilt.

Sister Jen Larsen and I always seem to end up at the same events, crazy i know. Here we were at Jessica Lono's (member from WV) Bridal shower. We made some beautiful toilet paper wedding dresses for show. Jen's was more of the 80's scandalous, headband kind and the one i made was more of a flowy modest dress. After this event i thought deep and hard about designing wedding dresses... but it didn't last too long.

Had lunch at Fazolis with the Ansteds which was a family from my last area. They are a great family who were all about missionary work! Their son Ben was headed out on his mission to serve here in Salt Lake.

Girls night out: hair at the salon, del taco and  ice cream. While we were outside some guys attempted on picking us up by saying "you guys know were a trash can is, you guys are hot wanna make out" and after we responded with a "no" they threw their trash at us. It was so great.

I found my MTC teacher Sister Mitchell picking out a ring cause she is getting married. I remember when i wanted to know about her relationship while i was in the MTC. Now she doesn't have to worry about that anymore.

The opening show for Miley Cyrus with a sweet dance by 1500 girls and the Blue Man Group. Miley was pretty good for a 15 year old. It was the best fire work show as well, they even played Celine Dion for the finally

We went to a park close to Bryce and Marcia's and celebrated Dad's 46th Birthday. We put on a show also acting out all the things that remind us of Dad. It was way fun to be with family. 

The only thing i have to say is, who taught Sam this? and now Jensen thinks it's ok.

You guessed it, i totally got to see, listen and get right behind The prophet of God President Thomas S. Monson. It was amazing, you could just feel the power!  

Fun fun it's a Collin Ray country concert. remember how our family was walking down the street and we were in that commercial and we LIED!!!! cause we had to say   "we love kick'n country" and nobody love country at all. except Danica and me oh and don't for get that it was a tongue twister for me and i could even say it... so I'm defiantly not a liar.

In serious meditation for shooting them orange things.

A group of us went shooting and i even hit some of those orange things. I figure out how to do it... you have to make sure you have the right eye closed and that i mean your left i closed. You know I'm just helping out all those that might have had the same kind of experience that i have.

Melinda's due any day now! Standing with the true Brady girls although none of them are Brady's anymore. I can't wait to see this baby!

Random! I was standing outside of a get together cause i was going in and to my surprised there was my beauty school friends, Ali and Mary-Kate. Love them

Sister Quinton and Sister Glad came down and we visited for a while. I tried making them some food from my house but there was nothing here so we went to one of my favorites... Costa Vida!

I might have got into a little accident, just little. The only thing is, is i missing my car logo and the sweet sounds of a smooth riding car.

Sister Campbell from Washington came down to Salt lake and then down to provo and gave me a sneak peek of her wedding dress. Which i would have to tell you, is beautiful. It was good to see each other even if it was just a few minutes. We got to reminisce in the good old times back a year ago when we served together in Radford Virginia. I'm really happy for her and she looks amazing , still has the same wonderful spirit that she carried as a missionary.

Later at work:i had an old man fall asleep on me,
I told a blind kid to look up for me
and one girl told me to "stop it" while i was hair spraying her hair,so i did but she wasn't telling me to stop she was saying it to herself cause she looked so good.

Work is good at Regis i'm liking it a lot, just got to figure out how to close cause the lady that showed me was in turbo mode and wrote all these numbers, pressed a lot of buttons and said "there that's how you close."

It's different being home, but i sure do love Family.
